Canton Fair, China抯 Biggest Trade Fair
The Canton Fair is held in the spring and autumn seasons each year since the spring of 1957 in Guangzhou (formerly known as Canton), China. The Fair is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and People's Government of Guangdong Province. Its full name since 2007 has been China Import and Export Fair. Among China's trade fairs, it has the largest assortment of products, the largest attendance, and the largest number of business deals made at the fair.

Whirlpool Corp, the home appliance maker, recently presented 24 refrigerator models into the Chinese market, which will be produced by its joint venture (JV) with Zhejiang-based Hisense Kelon Electrical. Whirlpool抯 washing machine production line will also be transferred to the JV to optimize its Chinese operations and cut costs.
