Shenzhen Bread Co.(Miluga), a GLCC subsidiary, has signed an agreement with Wal-Mart in Shenzhen for the purchase of a wide variety of bakery products that include Miluga's very popular moon cakes. Wal-mart Stores has more than 11 branch stores around Shenzhen alone. Gross revenues of more than two million RMB annually is projected from the sales of Miluga's mooncakes alone.

How Turtles Got Their Shell


A remarkably intact 220-million-year-old fossil found in marine deposits in the Nanpanjiang Trough Basin in China's Guizhou province is reported to be the answer to the long debated question on reptile evolution: how did turtles get their shell? The fossil – Odontochelys semitestacea, for “toothed, half-shell turtle” — has only a half-shell on top but a fully-formed plastron, which is proof that the plastron or the lower shell that encases the belly is developed first and after it was fully formed, then the upper shell or carapace follows.
